Abstract

Citizenship Education has been implemented in Spain as a compulsory subject in the national curricula. The issue has produced great disturbance in Spanish society due to its aims concerning children morals. The author considers that we are not before a mere pedagogical question, but before a certain concept of the State and of the person in which there is little space for freedom.
