Comunicación y Hombre from 2019 makes public some of the metrics of the magazine, that is, some tables where the values ​​of aspects that reflect the measurement of their scientific quality appear.

In the last issue of the magazine, 30% of the authors are international, 25% of the participating universities are foreign, and only 10% are authors from the Francisco de Vitoria University. In DICE (Diffusion of Editorial Quality of the Spanish Journals of Humanities and Social and Legal Sciences). DICE, as it appears on the web,, has the objective of facilitating the knowledge and consultation of some of the editorial characteristics and indirect quality indicators of the Spanish magazines of Humanities and Social Sciences.

DICE is the result of a collaboration agreement between the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA), the entity that finances its maintenance. It is a tool created by the Research Group Evaluation of scientific publications in Social and Human Sciences (EPUC) of the Institute of Documentary Studies on Science and Technology (IEDCYT) of the Center for Human and Social Sciences (CCHS) of the CSIC.

ANECA uses this database as a quality reference for Spanish publications, in its teacher evaluation processes. The EPUC group reminds the editors that sending the new issues of each magazine to this group is essential for the information in DICE to be updated.
