Mediology, icon, digital social networking

Abstract

This paper addresses the issues of mediology and the social networks. Categories of digital icon of the virtual, of interaction in online social networks, with support of hermeneutics, deconstruction, ethics and sociology from the perspective of critical realism are analyzed. The aim is to analyze the type of interaction that occurs in digital social networks and their impact on the social net, with the intention of inviting a prudent and responsible use of new information technologies.
