Abstract
The present historic moment leads us to assume that a deficit in the effective access to internet and others information and communication technologies is closely attached to social exclusion. In this article, we will study how Internet and ICTs favors the integration of immigrants. 1.104 foreign people from different countries registered in the Community of Madrid’s census participated in a survey to make research about which qualitative purposes of both technologies they make use of, and to outline a list of conclusions based on the analysis of the resulting data. Our results suggest that ICTS can promote the integration of immigrants, according to the view expressed by the same.
