With the advent of the Internet, social networks and digital platforms, the possibilities of access to information have grown exponentially; with this access, apparently, the possibility of freedom of expression has reached unprecedented levels, but at the same time new mechanisms of control and limitation of content have emerged. Artificial intelligence makes use of advanced models to filter and control information; in some countries, such as China, it is used to identify and limit politically sensitive content, preventing the dissemination of critical opinions.
