Reviewing Augustinian Theology by an original theory of desire. (Second part)

13th july 2011
9th january 2012

Abstract

In the first part of this article, we saw that Christian Tradition is based on three foundations: Original Sin, the Mediator, and Sacrifice. These elements uphold a Philisophy of History. We saw also that Saint Augustineis one of the main supporters of this outline, though his language and expressions need to be renewed, and René Girard contributed to that aim. Following that thesis, in this second part we emphasize the conversion of desire and the Original sin.
