Abstract

In this study we examine the role of media as agents of persuasion of the Spanish public opinion in some of the rare occasions in which our country has been involved in war crisis situations. We will also explain the impact that such information might have on the development of conflicts. To do this, we focus on the conflict of Ifni (1957-1958), the conflict of the Sahara (1975) and conflict of Perejil (2002). Finally we will expose several of arguments that inquire about possible mistakes and their possible solutions.
