Abstract
The current discussion about the new subject proposed by the Spanish Government «Education for the Citizenship» is a discussion that encloses a deeper philosophical argument we have to consider. This discussion is about the relationship between the person and the State and the risk of making an attempt against the social principles of Common Good and Subsidiariety. At the same time, another dilemma appears: the fundamentals of any educational proposal.
