Abstract
Objectivity, a subject that must be dealed with in all journalistic manuales and documents, has become a pure deontological question. In this article I will stress the need of developing a theorical framework to study objectivity in the appropriate way. Objectivity is not just an ethic point of view, it is not only a moral obligation, it is first of all a personal cognoscitive and intellectual attitude. For the mentioned reasons, and given that the moral focus is not enough without other disciplines support, it is a need to look into the subject in more depth from the philosophical and information theory perspective.
