			Abstract
From just a decade ago, new technologies have resulted in the fact of image is presented as tool that articulates huge number of possible speeches. This paper presents emerging trends in the field of practices of participatory photography as a tool for socio- educational research from the experience with adolescents. In addition, a review of the current state of theoretical and practical matter about this way of researching, including a map on the experiences that are conducted in Spanish and international level, with the use of participatory photography.
