Abstract
In the present article is explained the life of Saint Helen, mother of the emperor Constantine. She was the woman who discovered the Cross of Christ. The ideas exposed in this investigation are the result of a detailed study of the written sources of the Late Antiquity in which one speaks about her and this information has been completed by numismatic and epigraphic sources.
