Transmedia communication in video games: prospects, horizons and case study

Abstract

The bet for transmediality, caused by the appearance of technological innovations and changes that society has experienced both by them and by itself, has caused the communication has undergone substantial changes that have introduced new terms and concepts in our vocabulary .
Transmedia narrative has also covered almost all known media to broadcast the stories of the most holistic way possible. In this framework, the videogaming market would not be outside and has been adapted with ease and agility to this new reality.
