Abstract
This article analyses the power exercised by the communicator over the individuals of a society and the responsibility derived from it. A philosophical reflection on human communication shows the power that emerges from it and the need of pointing out ethical limits. Then, the article propounds an ethics of power, underlining some of its fundamental virtues.
