Abstract
Governments and political parties in Spain conceive televisions as instruments of propaganda and the best way to reach voters. Therefore, they seek their ideological control through a series of procedures that prevent the full freedom of the media. They also seek control over the political news on TV, mainly during election campaign, using legislation in accordance with their own interests, and through a series of techniques and professional strategies of bias affecting the electoral campaign events information.
